History: Although the name dinosaur translates directly to terrible lizard, theres nothing terrible about these cute little reptiles! Dinosaurs were a diverse group of creatures that roamed the earth for a period of roughly 180 million years, and were the biggest land animals to ever exist on our planet. You may not think it looking at these tiny tots, but some dinosaurs could grow up to 60 feet tall and 130 feet long!
Characteristics: We dont blame you for wanting to study and play with these cute little critters, but be warned adult dinosaurs often take care of their young and might come looking for their babies!
